We started Piercing in Bundaberg in a small Tattoo Shop (Talisman Tattoo) in 1992. We worked there until the start of 1996, when my girlfriend Margi and myself, decided that we had to find somewhere that suited the lifestyle we wanted, and here we are in the Sunshine Coast. We opened Puncture Body Piercing in October of 1996 and have never looked back, always making sure that we kept on improving our piercing techniques, aftercare procedures, sterilization and cross contamination equipment and making sure that our clients are happy. Hygiene will always be our No.1. priority at Puncture Body Piercing.

In our studio, we use only the best Body Jewellery from companies who can supply us with Safety Data Certificates on the quality of their metals, such as Surgical Stainless Steel (316LVM), Titanium (Ti 6AL Eli), Niobium and 14ct & 18ct Solid Gold. Each client is given verbal and written aftercare instructions and with some of the piercing's, we give our own aftercare product to you for free. We also ask you to come back for a free consultation after 2 weeks, so we can look at your piercing to see how it is going and answer any questions you have.

In 2000 and 2002 I travelled to the U.S.A to attend a convention in Las Vegas, organized by The Association of Professional Piercers. These conventions are designed to inform, advise and teach piercers on safer and better ways of doing a piercing; from your bedside manner to basic anatomy. We hope one day, we will have our own convention right here in Australia.

In a time when Piercing Studios are popping up in malls, in a most uninspiring way, we have continued to focus on our strengths of innovation and great quality jewellery, offering the very finest in service and skills and incorporating new techniques.
